So, here in the UK, are we really going to be building 300,000 new homes per annum over the next 5 years?
This is the stated aim of BOTH the current AND the previous Government!
But it has NOT happened to date – so will anything change NOW?
The average has been c. 220,000 per annum maximum! Perhaps if we say it often enough, things may change?
Perhaps if we wish hard enough, there will be a substantial influx of tradespeople to build said homes?
Perhaps we will observe a miraculous watering down of the planning system?
And perhaps it will all happen overnight?
Happy to revisit in 5 years…………………………..
