Absolutely NOT boring.

And here is another thing. It’s NOT just down to the FD/CFO to manage!

Let’s dispel some myths, and I know this from practical experience as a Chair of three Audit & Risk Committees.

“Audit & Risk” is NOT just about the Finances.

In fact, in my own roles, this is the least important area.

Risk Management is a POSITIVE factor in setting the Strategy, Vision, & Mission of an Organisation. Far too often , it is seen as a negative, and something that is a necessary evil.

But used the CORRECT way, Risk Management, managed by ALL the Executives, can be massively beneficial to a company.
