Episode 15: Professor Jonathan Passmore

My Guest on this Episode of the Clarendon Chronicles Podcast is globally-renowned Professor Jonathan Passmore.

Professor Passmore is a UK-based Chartered Psychologist, with a background in both Consulting and Academia, and an accredited Coach and Supervisor.

He holds five Degrees including an MBA and a Doctorate in Occupational Psychology and three Professional qualifications. His Doctoral Research focused on coaching relationships and coach behaviours and led to the development of the Integrated Coaching Model, published in 2007. He holds Professorship titles at Henley Business School, University of Reading, UK, where he is now the Professor of Coaching & Behavioural Change, and also the University of Évora in Portugal.

In industry, he previously worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers, IBM Business Consulting and Oxford Policy Management, before setting up his own Consulting firm which he sold in 2017, and he is now Senior Vice-President at EZRA Coaching.

He has published widely over the past 30 years with over 100 peer review papers, and 40 books with these ranging from Coaching to Mindfulness, and from Change Management to Leadership. He is an active Speaker, committed to supporting the development of others, and has also delivered over 300 Conference papers to audiences across the globe from Harvard to Sydney, and from Johannesburg to Helsinki.

Jonathan has won several International awards, including the Association for Coaching Global Award (2010), the British Psychological Society Coaching Research Award (2012), the Association for Business Psychology Chairman’s Award for Excellence (2015), and Best Article 2019 ‘Coaching at Work’, and Professor Passmore is listed in the Thinkers 50 Marshall Goldsmith Top 8 Global Coaches, and the Global Gurus Top 30 Thought Leaders.

In this Episode, Jonathan talks specifically about the Psychological make up of Entrepreneurs & Leaders, describing how he has coached Business Leaders, Cabinet Ministers & Celebrities, and how outward impressions of People do not always tell the whole story.
