Clarendon Coaching

Episode 13: Dr. Darren Stevens

My Guest on this Episode of the Clarendon Chronicles Podcast is Dr. Darren Stevens, who is a Developmental Psychologist and Next Level Coach.

This is a really thought-provoking Episode, and I was delighted to have Darren as my Guest.

For anyone in Coaching wishing to go deeper in Cognitive Behavioural Psychology, this is for you!

He discusses how his own personally developed system of Constructed Development Theory addresses how people THINK, and hence how Coaching can be so much more effective.

He describes how Leaders & Teams in Organisations benefit from his work, and how his forthcoming series of “Deliberately” books commences with the first edition entitled “Thinking Deliberately” (because we do not!).

Darren, amongst many roles, is the Founder of The Institute for Adult Development, a Lecturer at Northampton University in the UK, and the Creator of Constructed Development Theory in Coaching.

His academic qualifications include a BA (Hons) Degree in Business Management, a BSc Degree in Psychology, an MSc in Behavioural Sciences, and a PhD in Cognitive Behavioural Psychology.

Dr. Stevens has coached Leaders and Teams in multinational companies and his powerful approach strengthens leaders’ and organisational capabilities through transformational cognitive development and higher level systemic thinking.

Darren presents new ways for executives, managers, and consultants to reflect on who they are as leaders, how they relate to and impact others, and how to challenge their organisation to reach new levels of excellence.

This is a fascinating discussion around Coaching techniques, and well worth listening to. We barely scratch the surface of what is the basis of our thinking psychology.
